Synopsis

Gabriela, however, is falsely accused of drug trafficking and ends up in jail, with a year sentence. Rina is a poor girl who lives in a slum with her alcoholic father, her troubled sister, her delinquent brother and an 8-year-old brother who goes to school. The story begins with Rina's sister finding a purse full of bills at the door of a theater. The owner of the purse shows up and Bettina is locked up in a juvenile reformatory accused of being a thief.
