George Luis Rosario Jr. 38, of 35 Wendell Place, Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Thursday, December 30,
Mr. Rosario was born in Springfield, on December 3, , a son of Jorge Rosario Sr. and Lisa Robinson. He was employed by Dollar General. George was an adventurous outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, nature, and animals. He also learned all that he could about Springfield history. George is survived by his mother, Lisa Robinson of Springfield; his father, Jorge Rosario of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; four children, Noah Rosario, Kyla J. McDowell, George P. Rosario, and Sa'Hara L. Rosario; the mother of his children, Hope D. McDowell of Chicopee; a brother, Keith Robinson of Springfield; an aunt, Christine Robinson (and Mie); John Echols; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The calling hour is p.m. Sunday, at Harrell Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing are required.
