Temitayo Ibitoye, professionally known as Tee-Y Mix, is a veteran Nigerian music producer, composer, sound designer, mixing & mastering engineer.
He was the primary producer on You Know My P, the debut album by Nigerian rapper Naeto C released, in He is credited with mixing several hit singles in the s, including Davido’s “Gobe”, “Aye” and “Skelewu”, as well as Dr Sid’s “Surulere.” He also served as a judge on the popular Nigerian music talent show Project Fame West Africa from to
In the s, Tee-Y Mix began releasing his own music, with singles like “Closer” () and “Party No Dey Stop” (). His latest work is Road Trip, a six-track EP co-created with Nigerian performer Beekay. The percussion-heavy project, with a listening time of 18 minutes, explores themes of romance, self-actualisation, and hope.
We spoke to Tee-Y Mix about Road Trip, the talent show pipeline in Nigeria, and the current Afrobeats ecosystem.
Where did the idea for Road Trip come from?
Beekay is a fantastic songwriter and singer. We had collaborated on projects before and realised we worked well together, which led us to create this EP.

W.A.J.E (an acronym for Words Aren't Just Enough) is the eponymous debut studio album by Nigerian singer Waje. It was released on 1 May through Waje Musik Entertainment, and features guest appearances from M.I, Tiwa Savage, J. Martins, Sarkodie, Eva, Phyno, and Burna Boy. Production was handled by Del B, Spellz, E Kelly, Sizzle Pro, Cobhams Asuquo, J. Martins, Pappi J, LeriQ, and M.I.[1] It was supported by the singles "Oko Mi", "I Wish", "Na the Way (Remix)", "Onye", and "No Be You".

[edit]Before the release of W.A.J.E, Nigerian singer Waje gained recognition through key collaborations and singles that established her as a rising talent in the industry. Her career began in with "Bobo Mi", a remix of P-Square's "Omoge Mi", which led to her featuring on the duo's popular track "Do Me". While signed to her former record label Dome Records, Waje released singles like "Somewhere" and "Kolo", which helped build her profile but did not result in a full-length project. After parting ways with the label, she began working independently, culminating in the production of W.A.J.E.[2][3]
In an interview with The NET, Waje revealed that she worked with Cobhams Asuqu
